“Our gastrointestinal system both nourishes and protects our body as it is part of the first line of defense towards exogenous pathogens. To date new pathogenic pathways are discovered in which our gastrointestinal system is compromised or challenged. In a response, new treatment pathways are being explored and developed to support our gastrointestinal system in its functions. As a pharmaceutical physician, my goal is to provide state of the art treatment to medical doctors and pharmacist in order for them to treat their patients according to the latest medical knowledge and standards. As an Innovation Champion for Dr. Falk Pharma, my goal is to find new medicinal products resulting in registered medicinal treatments that can make a difference in patients' lives.”
