We take a responsible approach to our social media communications and consider it extremely important that everything we post is based on fact. We use our official Dr. Falk Pharma social media platforms, alongside more traditional communication channels, to inform and raise awareness about the diseases and conditions for which we are committed to developing treatments. Our social media platforms are also a place to present a more personal side to our company, share our business success stories and scientific breakthroughs, and promote our corporate culture, values and vision.

The pharmaceutical industry is highly regulated; therefore we do not post any information on social media about prescription medicines, treatment options, drug authorisation bodies, national governments, competitors, prognoses, financial circumstances or ongoing legal cases.

Any content published on our company social media pages is designed to inform and educate; it does not constitute professional medical advice and should not be used for the purposes of self-diagnosis. You should always consult a doctor for a professional medical opinion.

Mentions, comments, likes and shares

We always like to hear from you and welcome any comments, mentions, likes and shares. However, because the pharmaceutical industry is so highly regulated, we are sometimes not permitted to respond or react to mentions (using @ or #), direct messages, comments, shares or likes, and in some cases we may even need to remove this content. This applies, for instance, if you:

• ask questions of a financial, legal, regulatory, confidential or medical nature;
• post defamatory, slanderous, offensive, abusive, discriminatory or demeaning content (including images, videos and links);
• make derogatory remarks or threats, or condone violence or illegal activity;
• are in breach of copyright, intellectual property rights (e.g. trade marks) or other applicable legislation;
• are promoting products and/or services or seeking to generate more followers;

Our company languages are German and English. Unfortunately we cannot respond to comments posted in other languages.
