Life with IBD shouldn't depend on where you live

May 19 marks World IBD Day. Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) is a group of chronic, relapsing conditions characterized by inflammation of the digestive tract, including Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis and microscopic colitis.

Symptoms vary widely depending on the specific condition and may affect other parts of the body, significantly impacting a person's quality of life.

As experts in digestive and metabolic medicine, we strive to develop innovative products and therapeutic approaches while advancing the field of gastroenterology and hepatology as a whole – and have been doing so for over 60 years. That’s why we support today’s World IBD Day in raising awareness of the need for global access to diagnosis and effective therapies. Let’s talk about it and let’s work on it- together!
